Kimiye Corwin
Kimiye is an actor/dancer/choreographer who lives in Brooklyn. Originally a trained dancer (Juilliard, BFA in Dance), Kimiye moved into acting after dancing professionally for five years with the Jose Limon Dance Company. She studied at The Actors Center and at Brown/Trinity (MFA in Acting). Kimiye has had the pleasure of performing regionally (Syracuse Stage, Actors Theater of Louisville, Studio Theatre, Hartford Stage, TheatreWorks Palo Alto, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, Guthrie, McCarter). Kimiye's film and tv credits include One Life to Live, Blacklist, The Family, The Michael J. Fox Show, Five Dances (feature length film directed by Alan Brown). She has done movement consulting and choreography for theater (Dallas Theater Center, Guthrie, OSF), as well taught acting for dancers at NYU Tisch, and directed and choreographed for Stella Adler NYU program.
